"The Cruise of a Lifetime"

Well, my life is a little boring right now, but this past summer I got to go on a once in a lifetime trip. My Mom invited me to go on a cruise with her to the Scandinavian Countries. So I thought I would post a little bit about our trip.

We left on the 4th of July and flew to Copenhagen and boarded our Ship the MS Rotterdam. We were dead tired but we had to explore the ship first and found this club area at the front top of the ship and they had 4th of July decoration, so that was our only celebration of the day.

After that they made us do the life drills and I must say that we looked pretty ridiculus running around in our life jackets getting to our stations.

You can tell I looked a bit haggard. We hadn't slept for over 24 hours at that time. But it was so hard to slow down and because everything was so exciting. Anyway that was our first day on the ship. By the way, my brother and his wife were with us too. My mom's and my sister-in-law's luggage didn't make it to Copenhagen so they were left with only the clothes they brought in their carry on bags. They were going to have to wait for the luggage to catch up with us. More Later. . .

The Neverending Bathroom

It seems like we have been working on our bathroom forever. Not really, it's just we have made so many trips to Home Depot for something else every other day. Last night we got a new toilet and caulking and tonight we needed to go back and get more caulking. We have repaired a floor and wall, tiled, painted, caulked, added some new fixtures and will be adding a new toilet. Thanks go out to Kathryn and Jared for all the help they did. I don't think we would have ever started this project if it weren't for them.

Something I thought I would never do!

So my brother created a blog for my mom so that she could post her pictures and experiences, So I thought I had better learn how to make one myself so I could help her when I go to visit. I have been toying with the idea for a while now and I have been bored lately, so I thought why not. I don't have much to write about but I will try.
