We all got together on sunday which just happened to be Super Bowl Sunday, but our purpose was different. We wanted to celebrate family birthdays. We had two in January and one coming up in February, so this was a happy medium. First Birthday was Derek's. (I won't even tell you how old he is, but we got him a shirt in Hawaii that says "Older Than Dirt") You can tell his grandchildren just love to be around him.
The next birthday was my son, Alan's. He turned 24 this year. I had to stop and think about how old he is this year. (I'm getting too old.)
The last birthday celebrated was for my new grandson Cameron. He is turning 9 years old on Feb 14. He belongs to Jeph and Hannah's new family.
Even though they are getting older they sure look happy about it.
Everybody enjoyed themselves last night and I think the funnest thing was that Derek likes to give everybody else presents for his birthday, so we enjoyed ourselves shopping for everybody while we were in Hawaii. He even managed to surprise me with a beautiful black pearl necklace that will remind me of our trip to Hawaii.
