Derek and I went to San Diego to attend a wedding of our Neice. Before we went to the wedding, Derek wanted to visit a hamburger shop that his Assistant told him about. It's funny, we were born and raised in San Diego, but we had to have a Utahn tell us about this restaurant. It is located in Ocean Beach and it was a small little place and you wouldn't think it was that great. But they had great hamburgers.
When we got there, you were supposed to seat yourself and if there weren't any seats available, just wait for one to come available. So we waited a while and then Derek went in and looked at this Van. IT had seats and a table in it. So we availed ourselves to the situation. It was kind of fun.

It was a fun way to start of our Mini-Vacation!
It was great food and interesting atmosphere. I would recommend it.

Now that is what I call a drive-in restaurant. I've never heard of it either, but then I never spent much time in Ocean Beach. I preferred Mission Beach for some reason.
