Balboa

Last week Mom wanted to go down to Balboa Park for an event, but by the time we got there and found parking it was either over, or we didn't know where it was. But we still made a day of it and enjoyed ourselves. I love the buildings there in the park, they bring back memories of my childhood. Of course we had to stop and have a little photo session. I even got a picture of mom taking a picture (that's not really hard to do) As we strolled up and down the main area, there were street performers all over, so we stopped and watched this one group as they performed. They were kind of fun to watch and I got that stupid tune stuck in my head for a couple of days. I gave them a dollar, since I did video them.
After a long day of walking around we took off to Old town for good mexican food, but ended up at this bistro, which had mexican food on the menu, but it was a little different. Check out the rice on my plate and fancy salad. It wasn't what we are usually used to, but it was really pretty good. Mom's quesadilla was really good.It was a good Day!
