Saturday Mom wanted to go down to Balboa Park, so I told her if she would get rid of 10 things in her closet we would go. So we tackled a closet in one of the guest rooms and we found some really old clothes and we found some really nice stuff that she had forgotten about. (This is one of old things, by the way, and we got rid of it)
I guess it pays to go through your junk once in a while. It is such a good feeling to lighten our load.
We were able to bag up about 4 bags of stuff. We had quite a haul to take to the DI truck after cleaning some in the garage the day before.
Last time we took stuff to her truck it was spilling out onto the sidewalk, but this time it was nearly empty and we didn't have any problem unloading.
It is so nice that they have a truck right here in the church parking lot. We are so grateful for the program of Deseret Industries. They have been such a blessing in our lives and in many other lives. They provide so much for those that need jobs and when we donate to them it helps people in so many ways. What a neat program!

Just don't get rid of any old belts or jewelry. Those would be fun to hand down to all her great granddaughters.
