Lunch and Golf?

The day after Thanksgiving, Derek wanted to invite all the kids and grandkids to lunch at the place where his new office is. It happens that his office at a Golf Resort. They have a small cafe and we had a room to ourself (because it was a quiet day perhaps) to eat our lunch. I should probably say we kind of overtook the room. I am not sure that if anybody had wanted to eat there, after they would have poked their head in would have surely decided against that.We invited Mom along and she had fun with the Great Grandkids. She also helped wrangle a bit.The kids loved standing and sitting all over the furniture.Don't you just love that smile of Chloe's.Jacqui and Alan. Cute Couple.Jared and Kathryn, another cute couple.Janette, a beautiful young lady and my oldest granddaughter.Lex and Haden, best buds and the same age.The rest of the boys. I have a lot of Grandsons.By the time we left the area we ate in was a little of a mess. But I think all the kids had fun eating together.

Now it was time to do some golfing.
Derek wanted to take everybody out to hit a few balls on the driving range. So the boys were trying out the golf clubs to see if they could swing them.
It was a Gorgeous Day! Everybody had fun watching the kids take a few swings. We even let the little girls try too.Ethan had a pretty good swing. I didn't get pictures of all the kids at the tee. It was just fun to watch them all.The kids were so good sitting and watching and staying out of the way. We were so worried that somebody would get whacked!
I think Derek was satisfied that it was a good day!
