Being a Grandma!

Part of being a Grandma is spoiling grandchildren. In the last 3 months I have had 3 little grandson's celebrate their birthdays. As I have stated before I enjoy taking them out on their birthday's for an ice cream and let them pick out a toy. Jason's birthday was clear back in October and I neglected to post his. We got to go to the Ice Cream parlor and he picked out a green ice cream and put gummy worms in it. I don't know why kids like that. I always pick the same thing - Chocolate with almonds. I just love it and since I don't get it that often any more, I order it whenever I can. He was so cute and I sure love him. He always has something wise or funny to say. Next, it was dear little Haden. Sadly his day got postponed due to his Aunt getting married on the same day as his birthday, but for him he didn't even know or understand. He was so funny because all he wanted was Red Ice Cream, but they only had strawberry and I guess that was pink, but when he saw the orange, he said that was red and you couldn't tell him otherwise. He likes to say "cheese" whenever you point a camera at him. We found a bucket of "fake" legos at Harmens and he was in 7th Heaven. Every time I asked him how old he was he would just say in his tiny little voice
"I don't know" Last of all was Connor. His day out was after Haden's because I didn't want to do them together. The whole point of this is for them to have a special time with Grandma. Because Haden came home and told him about his red Ice Cream which was actually orange, he wanted orange ice cream too. We went to a different place and his orange ice cream was pumpkin pie. He actually liked it and enjoyed it. After that we went to K-mart to look for a toy and he zeroed in on the target guns and didn't want to even look at anything else. When we came out of the store I asked him if he wanted a ride on one of the rides in front of the store and as you can see he got to ride all three. I think the temperature was around 15 degrees. It was cold. Maybe we should get something else beside ice cream in this cold? Nah!!! He didn't seem to feel it though and enjoyed himself. When he got home he pulled out his toy and let Haden have one of the guns and they sure had fun with them. I am so blessed to have all my grandchildren so close by and be able to get to know them.
