Her Husband Jared, who is an awesome chef - made a wonderful prime rib. Which is one of my favorite meals.
We had homemade rolls and other fixin's to go along with it.
Before dinner started we got the kids working on making some cookies for Santa. They sure had fun rolling out the dough and cutting the cookies out.
Grandma Burrell was here visiting this year and she got in on the action playing video games and visiting with some of her Great Grandchildren. 
John is such a good uncle. The kids just love him.
One of my traditions is giving my grandchildren a new ornament every year. Here is Janette and Logan showing off their new ornaments.
They even had a special tree to hang the children's ornaments on.

Of Course before bedtime all the kids got to open up one package and sure enough there were New Pajamas! Hey why doesn't Santa bring me new jamies?
It was a nice evening and we had a lot of fun!
