We went Whale Watching yesterday on an afternoon tour. We went out on a big boat associated with the Pacific Whale Foundation.
We quickly went out to where a mother whale had just birthed a new baby whale and we saw the baby breach once, but mostly they just sat there floating, so later we took off to another area to see more. Derek watching the whales.
Finally, we found a very active baby whale who jumped about 10 times out of the water, I was able to get about 4 pictures and only one in focus. It was a pretty awesome experience. We can't get too close, because it is against the law, unless they swim to you.

I've always wanted to go whale watching! My class went on a field trip once but I had to stay home because I had a fever. I think that was the only time I was sick in Elementary school EVER! Bah!
I went whale watching when I was like 11. We never saw any whales, but I did get seasick and throw up in the lap of the guy sitting next to me on the boat.
