BYU Women's Conference
Mom and I got to go to Women's Conference this year. It is a couple of days of listening to sisters like us sharing their experiences and testimonies on varieties of subjects.
One of the things I like about the Women's Conference is that they have tons of service projects to work on while you listen. Here we are working on some quilts that they had. They didn't put them on frames so it was interesting to work on, plus the quilt we had was extremely tough to get the needle through, but we finished it. We also crocheted mittens, and cut out layettes and worked on those hat looms. It helps me to listen while my hands are busy, otherwise I tend to fall asleep. The same goes with Conference. If I have handwork, my mind listens so much better.
A picture of Mom while we are waiting in the Marriot center for the next speaker.
We had a fun time together. I am so happy she is living here now and that I can do more things with her.
