The "4th of July" Parade in Provo

So every year my Daughter Kathryn and her husband go watch the parade in Provo with his family. It is a pretty big deal and there is a tradition to save seats all night long. I don't usually go to the parade, but this year I asked her if they could save some for Mom, Derek and I, and if Jared's family was going to save some. So they decided they would do the saving and stayed all night with some of Jared's brothers and we had the grandkids spend the night with us and met them there the next morning. I think we got the easy part. They had a huge place staked out for us along with Jared's family and other in-laws. It was nice and in the shade and we had a perfect view.Trying to do a self-portrait. We are waiting for the parade to start.Derek and Kimber. She was all over the place that morning, but she sure enjoyed the parade. They had vendors and stuff thrown out to the kids and they loved running out to see what they could get.It was a crowded street and there were lots of people there to watch the parade.2010 is the Centenial Celebration for the Boy Scouts of America. So this was in tribute to that. And of course I had to get the missionaries from the Provo Mission marching in the parade, since I have a missionary serving also.It was a fun morning and enjoyable. Especially watching the grandkids get so excited.
