One of the reasons we wanted to visit Victoria B.C. was our Cruise was only going to be there for 4 hours on our last night. So we thought we would do a little more exploring on our own before hand. We traveled the scenic route up the coast on our way to Buschardt Gardens.

Buschardt Gardens started from a quarry, that you can see behind me. The quarry owners wife wanted to make it beautiful, so she started the gardens. There were many areas that were dedicated to different type of gardens. Rose Gardens, Japanese Gardens, English Gardens and so forth. It only takes a couple of hours to rome through it.

Of course I enjoyed taking closeups of the unusual flowers I found.

After we finished there we hopped on another ferry, (this time we found out the schedule and made reservations and arrived early, so we would make it to Seattle in time for our Cruise)

The ferry was one of the most beautiful parts of this journey. We weaved through several beautiful islands and we kept our eyes out for whales and dolphins. I caught a quick glimpse of something, but it was really quick. Below is the dock that we came into. The one we had originally tried to leave from 2 days before. It was a quaint town.

We stayed in Seattle that night and went to church the next day, before we headed to our Ship.
