We met in our usual place on the grass just south of the Stadium of Fire with food and fireworks. Kathryn and family were there waiting for us and excited for the fireworks to begin.
Don't they all look Patriotic? It was a nice evening and we had fun socializing.
Of course we didn't go there just to watch the big fireworks. We brought our own. They happen to block off the street right where we like to go, so we take advantage of that and set off our own.
We usually start off with the poppers and then we go into the sparklers. Kimber was so cute as she played with fire.
Lex was getting the hang of it too.

We made quite a mess and quite a spectacle. It usually attracts a lot of kids over to watch and it passes the time until the big show starts.
It looks like we all enjoyed the show.
Jason is such a handsome guy.
The show was good, except the part where it stopped for 10 minutes and everybody thought it was over so we started for our cars and when we got there it started up again for another 5 or 6 minutes. Oh well. All the kids were tired along with me. It was a fun night as usual.
