A Beautiful Fall Day!

Fall came early last year.  Mom was worried that it would all disappear before we got a chance to see it, so we decided to take a day and I took her up the Nebo Loop.  It was a change from Provo Canyon and something we could explore.  It did take a us a while, because we explored every off road we found.  It was fun though.

We found several spots to stop and take pictures.  Kind of hammed it up in some, but what fun. The leaves had turned on some trees and on others not so much.

We passed by horses and lots of cattle roaming free and on the roads.  Several times we had to slowly move through them.
We stopped and ate lunch at Payson Lakes.  It was pretty deserted, but there were some die hards that were still camping up there.
We even came across this little hike that we decided to go on and at the end was a beautiful little red canyon.  Kind of a mini Bryce Canyon.  I can't remember the name of it.  But it was georgeous.
Like I said before we took a day (it took us nearly 5 hours to explore all the different turnoffs and campgrounds and things but it was a fun day to be together.  Loved it.
