Jason turns Seven? Oh My!

 I can't believe my little Jason is growing up so fast.  This boy is such a sweetheart (I think all my grandkids are, though)  Anyway, he really is.  He is so funny too.  He says some of the darnedest things.  Of course when we went shopping all the Halloween masks were out and we couldn't resist trying them on.  I used to do that with the older kids when they were young and it would always scare the babies. (we were so mean) but it was so funny, because they would stop crying as soon as you would take off the mask.  But Jason and I didn't have anybody to scare. Oh well.  This kid is awesome.

Later that week - actually on Halloween Day (Sunday) Kathryn invited us over to celebrate Jason and Jared's birthdays.  They share a birthday, so we were able to wish them both Happy Birthday!

So, I gave Jason this Paper Jamz guitar that he could play on and immediately, he and Logan ran upstairs and brought down another play guitar and decided to give us a concert.  So Lex got in on it and brought out some tubs to play the drums.  So I am thinking ( yeah, they are going to play some nonsense music and it will be cute) but the crazy thing was - Jason starts out and he has written some lyrics to his song and it was so unexpected we just were blown away.  It was kind of like the old Beatniks that strummed music with their lyrics.  It was too funny.  We are gonna have to watch this kid.  He is really creative.
