We met Kathryn, Lex and Kimber at the fair this year. This seal show was just starting and we happened to get there when there was hardly anybody there and we saved some seats for Kathryn and kids, when all of the sudden tons of people started filing in and were giving us angry looks for saving seats. So I kept calling Kathryn to make sure she was coming and that they could find us and sure enough they found us and we were able to enjoy the show.

As we went through all the demonstrations and displays we found this one for a ceramic curling iron. Kathryn sat down to have the demonstration. It was nice, but then when I heard the price I kind of coughed ($120.00) and we left pronto. I think $20 is plenty good for a curling iron, thank you! But she does look pretty!
We went into this room with Homemade Utah items and there was this huge rocking horse. Couldn't resist a pictures of the kids. It's fun to see things through their eyes.
They had this little hands on activity to teach about farming to kids. It had little stations for them to do things that a farmer might do, like picking apples, feeding the cows with the corn, milking the cows, planting and harvesting crops. They also had little tractors for them to drive and they got money at the end to spend in their little store for a treat. I think they enjoyed it.
Our little farmers and big farmers!
One of the things I enjoy doing is visiting the craft and quilting displays. Every year they have a contest for quilters to make a wallhanging with a certain piece a fabric, behind me you can see several different entries. It is always interesting to me to see how many different ideas people can come up with using the same piece patterned material. Fun!
It was a good day and a little tiring. At least the kids got to ride on the real horses this time.
We had a good day. As you can tell from Lex and Kimbers' enthusiasm
